It would probably be announced in some sort of press release.

GE hasn't been shy about how many engines it has presold and how much revenue that has generated. They also aren't holding back about how important 3D printing will be to the company, I don't see any reason why they would require a small company like Sigma Labs to not disclose units sold. There was a period where Sigma couldn't disclose the name of the "leading aerospace manufacturer" that it was collaborating with but that didn't stop them from releasing numbers from those early contracts.
