dmbao ... Well, ...

that's certainly a possibility.

"With the launch of Pimovi, our goal is to drastically improve the ways people experience entertainment," said Maxwell Grant, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chancellor Group. "We have assembled a strong team of industry specialists to lead the business and mobile aspects of Pimovi, and we look forward to leveraging our collective expertise to create what we believe will be a game-changing technology platform.

Mr. Grant brings extensive experience in the entertainment industry to Pimovi, etc., etc. ..."

PIMOVI TEAM:

Kasian Franks, Co-founder and Chief Visionary Officer

Kasian guides the crew at Pimovi, as they navigate start-up waters. As the former founder and CEO of music search engine technology company, SeeqPod, which garnered 50 million unique visitors and 250 million monthly searches, he understands market disruption. After cutting his teeth as a software engineer and product developer specializing in pattern matching algorithms and tools, Kasian worked at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), Life Sciences Division, as a Genomic Research Scientist earlier this decade. Kasian recently re-joined the gym at UC Berkeley. We’ll let you know how that progresses.

Mike Muldoon, Chief Technology Officer

Mike has over 20 years of experience leading top-notch engineering teams and writing software. He wrote his first line code when he was five. Mike’s steadfast efficiency is a critical ingredient in Pimovi’s agile product development. Mike is also the founder of Infnro, a social network and gaming platform for the tabletop RPG community. Mike likes to chase wind, kite surfing in his spare time.

Raymond Walintukan, Chief Operating Officer

Raymond spent the last eight years in China managing tech startups and investment firms. His strengths are in software engineering and operations management. Prior to China he worked in fortune 500 companies including Cisco. Raymond effortlessly gets products shipped and partnership agreements inked, while managing the day to day mechanics of the company. Raymond has mastered the art of working remotely, while on a recent sailing trip to Belize.

LaurieAnne Lassek, Chief Marketing Officer

LaurieAnne brings nearly 15 years of tech and consumer brand marketing and communications experience. She adeptly catalyzes business growth for start-ups and enterprises alike, with her own integrated blend of strategy and scrappiness. LaurieAnne is building a narrative for Pimovi and its products that can be easily translated by partners, developers and users to fuel adoption. She is the former co-founder of ‘Girls in Tech’, VP of Marketing for WP Engine, and before that, Quova (acquired by Neustar). If she does not answer her email, she is likely in a power yoga class someplace, or herding nerds.

Matthew Hamilton, Business Development & Mechanical Mentor [COO & Co-Founder, MOBILE GENIUS LLC]

Matthew has nearly a decade’s worth of experience managing teams of scientists and engineers at some of the largest companies in the semiconductor space including Applied Materials and LAM Research. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from San Francisco State University. Matthew has been messing around with old cars since 1985 and Alfa Romeo’s since about 2001. Years of fixing old motorcycles, scooters and cars have given him a sense of how things should be.

Dr. Thomas Rand-Nash, Data Science Advisor [CEO & Co-Founder, MOBILE GENIUS LLC]

Tommy is a data scientist and entrepreneur with over 10 years experience managing both technical and non-technical teams. He holds a PhD from MIT in Engineering Systems, where he focused on developing quantitative and qualitative metrics and data analysis tools to characterize uncertainty. Prior to the PhD program, Thomas received a Bachelor’s degree from the UC Berkeley in Physics, and dual Master of Science degrees from MIT in Technology in Policy, where he studied internet and telecommunications policy, and Materials Science and Engineering, exploring novel materials to facilitate increased optical broadband transmission rates. When he is not crunching data, he is running marathons, Muay Thai kickboxing, road biking, or playing music.

Eric Maas, Senior Designer & Dog Herder

Eric works with things you don’t know about yet. He has spent time working as a sports journalist, covering professional cycling in Europe and across the US. He was the Marketing Director for Wilherst Venture capital and was a founding member of Lyra Designs. While his roots are in Graphic Design he is right at home working with development teams to make awesome websites and applications. Eric loves to tinker with and restore old motorcycles in his spare time. Questions about how to update your website or which craft-beer to buy next week? Eric will answer them.

Daniel Steiner, Content Production Manager

Its rumored that Dan was raised by baboons, so its no small miracle that he has excelled rapidly in adapting to the world of humans, especially in the area of film and television video production. He has shot, produced, and edited broadcast content around the globe for Discovery, Current TV, Al Jazeera English, and VICE. Dan has also held at numerous notable advertising agencies like JWT and Wieden+Kennedy. He currently lives in San Francisco where he enjoys surfing, absurdist comedy, and braised meats.

Josh Currie, Partner Development & Video Producer

Josh brings key recent experience with social media content production and distribution at Passion Voice as the PR & Social Media Manager. In addition to his creative, steady hand in video production and content strategy at Pimovi, Josh also works with our content partners to develop a “channel” that works for their own particular “brand”. He helps keep the internal team looking good on camera. Josh attended Pepperdine University, and likes crossfit.

Martin Collins, Video Curator & Producer

Martin grew up in Scotland and is now happy to call San Francisco his home away from home. When not shooting or editing video, he seeks out talent in his role as an A&R guy for Apollo Records, the sister label of influential Belgian imprint R&S Records. He is also a DJ and a contributing freelance writer for the art and music magazine Big Up. Martin is good enough to make sure we don’t drink too much of our own Kool-Aid.

Well, we know Josh has left and Hamilton, Rand-Nash and Maas are the co-founders of Fuelist ... it would be nice to know for sure just who's still working with Franks at Pimovi. What we do know, lest we forget, is:

"Pimovi, Inc., a 61%-owned subsidiary of The Chancellor Group (OTCBB: CHAG), announced the appointment of Raj Saxena of Cisco Systems, and formerly of JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, to the Pimovi advisory board."

Personally, I can't help but wonder what it was he saw in Pimovi ...

"Commenting on his appointment to Pimovi's Board of Advisors, Mr. Saxena stated, 'Pimovi is working on some of the most cutting-edge and exciting technologies I've seen in a while and I hope to be a part of their complete success'."

"Pimovi Technical Co-Founder and CSO, Kasian Franks, expressed, 'Given his 20 year track record of providing leadership, business acumen, and technology expertise through broad based strengths in Silicon Valley and beyond, he is a clear asset for any company. We intend to use his skill sets to advance our current initiatives with partnerships and related transactions surrounding our audience of Pimovi fans'."

Pimovi operates in the music and entertainment area with being the developer of proprietary algorithms for content, search, recommendation in addition to mobile distribution platforms for First Person, or Point-Of-View (POV) video software and hardware for music, sports and entertainment in general. Pimovi is based in Berkeley, California.

And last, but certainly not least, ...

"Mr. Saxena's experience in the financial industry with companies such as JP Morgan, Bank of America and others will provide Pimovi and its products with a additional strength in growing and managing financial transactions connected to its current and future product offerings. He has specialized in operational excellence in consumer operations related to financial transactions. Pimovi will also benefit from his expertise related to global business strategy, integration and partnerships. He is currently responsible in the area of strategy and business transformation at Cisco Systems."

I might be wrong, but that first sentence seems to imply to me that Mr. Saxena could perhaps assist Pimovi in obtaining reasonable financing in the event the Company needs it, especially considering his ties to a couple of the biggest and well-known financial institutions in the country. Something to think about, anyway.

Plus, here's something that I just can't get ut of my mind ...

"Still, Franks is optimistic that this approach will prove effective at securing funding from users and the market, rather than from Silicon Valley investors. As an exit strategy, he hopes to “spawn an ecosystem of companies” and “rapidly transform these into several IPO-based spin-offs.”

That's from a 2010 interview with Franks around the time he was getting Mimvi underway ... I just have to resurrect that quote from time to time, because I like the thought of IPO-based spin-offs and I do believe that's what's going to happen with Fuelist and hopefully Pimovi as well if they can ever get that Company jump-started. I don't know enough about Trademason to include it in the mix.

I really don't have a clue as to what's going on with Pimovi, however, I think it's worth knowing that Mr. Franks filed a "provisional" patent application entitled:

"'Video Distribution Service' involves video distribution for Chancellor Group's recently formed mobile app multimedia subsidiary, Pimovi, which is developing a proprietary POV (Point Of View) technology platform for pictures, movies and videos."

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/chancellor-group-files-patent-personalized-123000150.html

Plus, he recently updated two of his patent applications ...

Matching and recommending relevant videos and media to individual search engine results #US 20140052717 A1 Published Feb 20, 2014

and ...

Media discovery and playlist generation #US 20140074813 A1 Published Mar 13, 2014

Now, it certainly seems reasonable to believe he did this with some purpose in mind, wouldn't you think ?? To me, it suggests that that these technologies just might be utilized along with Pimovi's technology [see above] in producing whatever products [PLURAL] that they're currently working on.

Finally, FWIW, in my mind Pimovi is not just a one-trick pony, and from the language in just that one press release, it seems to be anything but !!??!!

JMHO, of course, and GLTA CHAG Shareholders.
