AF, a NEW TABLE game I just started to play is Mississippi Stud. I LOVE blackjack too, and that was all I played for the last 30 years or so, but my friend got me into this new game and I LOVE it.
Only 2 casinos have it that I know of, Mohegan Sun in CT. and Mt. Airy Lodge in PA. I was at the table when for a $10 bet a guy won $4,000. Can't do that in blackjack as we know. Google it and check it out if you find a casino in Brazil or on a cruise that has it, and you will like it too. You are allowed to "triple" down 3 times on your initial ante bet, and if you do when the 2 cards dealt to you are a pair of 6's at least, you cannot lose. The worst is a push.
So when this guy was dealt 2 9's (still a push), the dealer whose 3 cards are also yours, had the other 2 9's, so he had 4 9's and got paid 40 -1. He started with his ante of $10, and then immediately "tripled" down on the other 3 cards that were to come, so $30 on each of the 3 cards. The total he put up was $100 then, the $10, plus $30 3 times, but no matter what the dealer had, he could not lose a cent. I have read about 15 books or so on blackjack, but not one on this new game yet. Good luck with gambling and the blind date.
