You are correct ! The facial recognition is accomplished by the photo on the state drivers license, and the information on the drivers license is verified by information from the states DMV. Whats really nice about this technology, it can either work on the vending machine or IMO it can also work at the POS at the cash register. When Stephen mentioned that it wasn't the box the technology is hooked to, but it's the technology (something to that effect).. It's getting exciting watching where this company is heading..
