Hello, I have been lurking for a while but am struggling to understand one thing in particular... How does virtualization eliminate software obsolescence, such as in prolonging XP indefinitely? Isn't the major issue with no more support that security issues grow as vulnerabilities are discovered but not remediated? I don't understand how virtualization solves this issue. Any comments are appreciated.
