No it's because peeps are planning ahead & buying now, before the flood gates of full DTC membership are opened. This will allow buyers who use TD Ameritrade & Scottrade & others who can't currently buy to pick up shares. People think that there will be a lot of new buyers when this happens driving up the price so they are picking up extra shares now before that happens.
