I dont know about the jury's impression but after reading the opening statements I am impressed with Furniss. Instead of RMBS coming across as a small company being attacked by the big guys, he painted a word picture of a 3.5 billion dollar giant company whose founder Farmwald had already reaped 100 million dollars in profits. He also said that something must be wrong with the RMBS patents since almost ALL the major manufacturers readily paid royalties to many other companies but refused to pay RMBS.

Furniss is the threat. He is well trained, competent, experienced and is a persuasive champion national orator. He was able to send our attorney into an emotional rage without any significant consequences to Hynix. He was able to get a 7 woman 2 man jury seated which is a big advantage to his style.

Although we have the truth, Furniss has already shown the ability to twist facts against us. Our man Stone must be on the attack and present our case forcefully. He cannot let Furniss get to him.
