Without knowing the inner workings of the agreement and the actual sub count, which was hinted at months ago, it SEEMED like a good idea. When the board discussed the issues and churned everything over and over, most of us came to the conclusion that DVDAvenue may not have been worth the money when GZ was working on the AAFES deal and the CC deal.
I for one have been with this company when it was in the beginning stages and understand what JF is trying to accomplish. The mission statement has always been to be a family oriented business.
Porn serves it purpose but I for one was not comfortable with inadvertently investing in it. Even if we sold off the porn, the subs would not have come over to GZ. Those subs rent from DVDAve because of the porn....not availability of CHICKEN LITTLE therefore it would not have been a good fit on that issue.
