I think a lot of them get triggered when new volume surges hit. That's why on the 3rd or 4th day of volume shorts are able to bring it down easily. The algo expects the draw back and the rapid short sales triggers the algo to run the turn. So if the bulls continue to do the same thing, but on buys instead, we get to control the price. Just a theory, but after watching and experimenting, I think I may be right.
