290 this year..best I could manage. at one point i was averaging 216. Subbed on a team in a different house for 3 weeks and avg 226. Had not bowled there or with that team for 2 years.
Anyway...yea, I saw that 'future of racing' article. I think if things become to technical and get away from the roots of 'down' and 'dirty' background of RACING that it will become a non-interest activity among people in general. You can only take technical aspects so far before people in general just say 'the hell with this...I don't get it' When people lose understanding, they lose interest. It is the common thread in life too. Now, you keep it simple and maintain... 'hey I got a 350', 'whatever...I have a pontiac 400' you maintain the philosophy of mine is faster than yours and the hopes of one day 'playing with the big boys'. They are getting to far off the beaten path with some stuff and not maintaining some of the 'how did we get here' stuff on the other end!
AS for shooting the lanes with you.. I am always up for a good practice day and slinging 12oz curls. If you are ever in Southeast MI we should figure it out.
