I'm sure it's not illegal but IR shouldn't be allowed to single handedly destroy a stock while draining it of it's investors money, more importantly though no one should ever be desperate enough to enter into agreements with them knowing their nature. It's like selling your soul to the devil to save your life, you aren't getting the better deal there. That deal has single handedly destroyed the stock.
