BURLEY - The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has received a request from Pacific Ethanol Magic Valley to modify the air quality permit to construct that regulates emissions from the company's fuel grade ethanol manufacturing facility in Burley.

The proposed permit modification will allow the company to increase undenatured ethanol production from 63 million gallons per year to 70 million gallons per year. Emissions must remain within legally allowable limits.

A public comment period will be provided on the proposed permit if a written request is submitted to DEQ by 5 p.m. MDT, Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

The permit application is available for review on DEQ's website (download at right).
