Salaries for driver and crew? Obviously some research on local short track racing needs to be done.

No one in short track racing is on salary lol. 99.9% of people that are involved either make nothing or even spend some of there own money to do it. Drivers don't make money. At the local level it's all about the love of the sport. Without knowing what the sponsorship cost, what the cost of the car is, who paid for the car, with what money, it can't be said whether it's a good deal or not. The series is getting the brand out there and a name like Jeremy Mayfield running the car can only grab attention.
