MY VISIT TO (THE MISSING) FFGO/NMGL "SOUTH COPPERSTONE"

On my way to Arizona, I pulled off on Quartzsite and drove up the 95 to Bonanza’s Nonproducing CopperStone mine (to look for our investment location… “South Copperstone”). There were no trespassing signs at the gate, but it didn’t feel right driving into an active gold mine in the middle of the desert. So I waited patiently for just over an hour before I saw a vehicle come out. I waved down the vehicle and introduced myself to the gentlemen. I explained to him I was previously an investor in Fortress Financial Group, Western Diversified, and North American Gold and Minerals and was curious if he knew anything about “South CopperStone”. He didn’t know anything about it and confirmed that there is no sign of anything happening on the southern end for miles. No claims stakes visible.. no digging signs… nothing.

After I explained to him what was supposed to be there he started telling me AZ is full of mining scams and this sounded like one. Typically these old used-up mines with minute traces of gold are sucked up by international scammers since it gives them the legal right to say there is gold there.. but they never publically say how much. When I also explained that the Assay report was held private at the AZ BLM he laughed and said that gold companies looking to attract investors never make that document private – they want it public – so to him that was another sign. We spoke a bit further and I learned a lot more.. including a little more about the Bouse area.

Afterwards, I drove back into Quartzsite and started speaking to various old-timers in the town. Spoke to a couple of gentlemen who had a history with mining and they also went on about mining scams in the area. Not one person I spoke to knew anything about “South CopperStone”, Fortress Financial Group, Western Diversified, North American Gold and Minerals, Lumb, or Lowenthal.

Figures.

The raised land is "CopperStone", not "South CopperStone" (which should be just to the left)
