Your mother is probably smarter than the rest of us, seeing all this recent hacking into companies?

Personally, I am not getting too much more into OMEX right now . . . though my feeling is it will pull through. OMEX has lasted for over ten years, and has had some unforeseen bad breaks. Part of my reasoning for being in OMEX, is they are the folks selling the picks and shovels and pans to the 'gold seekers' (countries and investors seeking to recovery undersea treasure and mineral deposits). Human race is getting closer and closer to having to make some huge decisions on where to find new natural resources to develop, to continue itself. OMEX is in the vanguard of that new way group trying to find and harvest those raw material resources. Remember; there is more of this globe underwater than above it.

OMEX recently upgraded their ship electronic gear and other on-board gear. I just think they would not of done this unless, they had coming firm contracts of recovery possibilities. The treaty of the seas works against innovative salvage firms, that want to do the right thing environmentally and historically on their sites. Folks in the business world and governments that are unable to recovery loss cargos . . . wait for recovery and then go crying to the courts that they are being robbed. For example, Spain looted the Americas by harsh imperialism and then demands back the PMs they so acquired and lost in a wreck or storm, etc.
Spain had no right to Americas PMs obtained by military force and slavery in my opinion. I felt OMEX should have gotten the present Americas governments (and their military) on their side and made an agreement with them, to recover their lost treasury looted by
Spain. I believe the Americas governments would have been more than happy to have payed OMEX for recovery costs and some profit.
I rather doubt Spain would have been able to out-force the combined Americas military power, which would have firmly told Spain to 'stick it'.
Just my take on it. Courts and lawyers will say I am way wrong.

OMEX needs to be a lot more 'creative' in where and how they store their finds from open seas recovery? USA government will heel before their 'allies' demands for the right to the recovery.

I would love to see OMEX 'donate' the results of a recovery to a worldwide fund trying to save the earth from man. Of course, after they get their recovery costs paid and make a reasonable profit on that recovery. I will get a lot of flak on that idea?

In the end . . . OMEX offers more risk than say GE as a stock . . .but it also offers more reward potential. Once in awhile . . . a company like OMEX comes along . . . who does not feel excitement in exploring, recovering lost treasure and opening up the mining of the ocean floor? Besides . . . they have great potential as a movie company---> Titanic Movie.

OMEX is like Tesla . . . doing 'it' . . . while others think how to ride their backs and steal from their efforts. One thing that keeps me from hitting the sell button, is that I see OMEX as the vanguard poster boy of undersea mining potential. That's worth a little gamble to me.

Just wait until OMEX is allowed by court, to announce a whole lot more about its treasure recovery efforts. A nice recovery display at the Smith in DC with guards . . . and maybe some door prize coins contest . . . would very nicely get international attention OMEX deserves?
