The MOU could've been constructed for one year or five years or longer....

Kim has that information.

I have a feeling though,it was for more than one year,as I would assume Kim would desire working with SSM much longer than merely 365 days.

Here's an example of a 5 year MOU....

Though it's contracted with the Government,the basic premise still exists:

I point out:

13. COMMENCEMENT/EXPIRATION/TERMINATION. This MOU takes effect upon the signature of the Forest Service and SDGFP and shall remain in effect for 5 years from the
date of execution. This MOU may be amended upon written request of either the Forest Service or SDGFP and the subsequent written concurrence of the other(s). Either the Forest Service or SDGFP may terminate this MOU with a 60-day written notice to the other(s).
