Possession is 9/10's of the law?
Tommy and his boys (including perhaps Meson, who needs allies to drive his part of the shorting goal and then jump back in as long); have no known capability to effectively and environmentally do an effective recovery of the CA wreck site. The court recognizes that OMEX has the up-graded tech, experience, and environmental 'dig' qualification . . . to bring forth most success to recovery of the goods. The Judge has cleverly demanded the recovery artifacts be turned over to USA Marshals exclusively (which settles any 'hold' and security of inventory details at issue). 'Tom-Tom' has been neatly sweep from the issue, regardless (how could he enable receivership even with his atty. of the goods)? There is that little matter of an arrest warrant?

Very fine legal suma by you for board members, like me that have limited legal training.

The game is afoot . . . and doubtful everyone involved wishing to kill the golden calf of recovery? We are below $1.50 OMEX stock price briefly . . . or so it seems?

Probably at least one (and maybe two) USA Marshals aboard the salvage ship, directly watching and documenting the finds. Hardly would look good for Marshals to 'drop-the-ball' in their possession? Perhaps even a spy drone 'practicing' in the immediate area (sands the Navy).

Some talk on another board that the Explorer could basically do the recovery in one trip with good weather. Then, the slow grind of the legalism wheels. Meanwhile; OMEX is off to other finds, its hands totally clean in this mission and with immediate 'lunch money and bus fare' in its pocket, with another check to follow.
Much better financial picture then in that immediate pass epic 'Spanish Double Cross'.
