I have never done anything with the RO, just buy the shares at a cheaper price when sh price drops.
And yes, S+P climbed about 45 % since May 2012.
Which would have been a better return than owning CFP, although may have been about the same with re-investing all the dividends .

My next question would be : What happens with CFP NAV and share price when market crashes 50 % again ? Would CFP share price crash the same amount as the overall market ?
I could answer my own question : That's what it did 2008-2009, dropped over 50 %
But people who bought close to the lows of 2008 and 2009 got a div yield of about 38 % for a while !
