It means there is a contract that is enforceable without knowing more but they are renegotiating it. Key there is a contract. It may be they are seeking a better deal and giving other consideration to enforce. Sounds like they are trying to make a solid business decision. Once again we do not know why they are renegotiating it. Would you agree or disagree.
