Saudi Arabia contracts Finland's STUK

8 May 2014 King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE) has formed a strategic partnership with Finnish nuclear regulator STUK to develop a radiation and nuclear safety authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is aiming to build 18 GW of new nuclear capacity by 2030. Nuclear Engineering International
