Im tellin ya Itd be lucrative for me to start an over/under pool for the amount of times fellow board members tell other board members to "relax" or "chill", or more agressively "stop whining" or "being babies" on a daily basis.
Its as if people are proud of *themselves* for not being worked up on a given day and thus look for any reason to claim "the high ground" of being in control of their emotions when their is any slight potential reason for them not to be.
Again, Im pretty sure most of us are relaxed, and if not, guess what? Anyone telling people to calm down or relax clearly should know it must not have worked the hundreds and thousands of other times people have said the exact same thing, because peeps r still finding reasons for it to be said ad nauseum.
Im just going to chalk it up to people reminding themselves not to freak out. Its the only way to make heads or tails of it lol. Cuz, last time I checked, if you tell anyone to calm down in the real world during a convo it will produce the opposite effect.
