At first I was worried he was running two separate projects with the HelloCities and the professional practice search engine on TheDirectory.com, but now I see can see where he was going with this by linking HelloCities to TheDirectory.com for the classifieds tab.

I impressed with what he is trying to do. A search engine (like google), with a white pages, classifieds (like craigslist/ebay), jobs page (like monster) all in one place. A more conentrated hyper-local search.

This is still a beta beginning phase, but if more people get on board with this they could really turn this into something useful for people. It is still a risky investment, but I am in.

I think a lot of the techincal work is being outsourced to computer engineers, but if they ever hire some IT guys that worked for big name companies, Look out! I hope the revenue will be there to bring in some seriously experienced IT people.
