PHOENIX, Feb. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Altitude Organic Corporation, a division of Tranzbyte Corporation (OTCPINK:ERBB), is pleased to announce the findings of research conducted by the company's soil development partner, U-mate International Inc (www.humate.com).

U-mate International Technical Director is Russian soil scientist Dr. Vladimir Vasilenko (http://vasilenko.blogspot.com/). His extensive research in the organic fertilizer field has won him international accolades in the horticulture field. His work has proven to maximize yields and efficiency for commercial agriculture. Dr. Vasilenko has been awarded 5 patents, has been featured in 28 publications, and has presented papers at 9 symposia and conferences and shows, including First World Conference on Organic Seed supported by FAO of the United Nations (Rome, Italy, July 2004) and Canada Blooms (Toronto, March 2005). He has been awarded five grants and premia in the United Kingdom, France, USA, China, and Canada.

Dr. Valisenko's humate research appeared in the publication, Greenhouse Canada in 2001. It found that derivatives of humate products, particularly the fulvic acid fraction, increased the percentage of germination of tomato seeds. Tomatoes are a flowering and fruit bearing plant with a life cycle similar to the cannabis plant. Stem heights and diameters of the tomato plants also increased as a result of humate application in hydroponic harvesting. A positive effect of humic substances upon chlorophyll content in leaves correlates with higher yield of treated plants. The humates substantially increased the average diameter of fruits and number of fruits per a cluster. The total biomass of fruits of treated plants exceeded control up to 38-42%.

Managing Director Brian Cook of Altitude Organic stated, "The proven efficacy of humate organic fertilizer and our partnership with U-mate International Inc will allows us to capitalize upon the selling and distributing of our proprietary soil line in the traditional horticulture and gardening industries, as well as within the fast-growing cannabis industry. Altitude Organic plans to unify branded production of Altitude Organic cannabis by mandating standards amongst its legally operating partner dispensaries, nationally."
