The biggest trap that companies as FCX and very intelligent wall street "experts" fall into is their own "expertise" and intelligence. They lose sight of the Larger Picture through all the Short term numbers they analyze. It is a problem which has pervaded the US system in every aspect of life not just in business. A famous quote i Never forget is "When I think back at all that I learned in school, it is really a wonder that I can think at all".
