More solid data concerning ERBB history

In 2010, understanding the need for additional capital infusement and skilled business acumen, Cook guided Altitude Organic Corporation into a venture partnership with The Amergence Group of Scottsdale, AZ, which advises and supports start-up businesses that “introduce edgy, disruptive, and/or innovative technologies in the world market."

After making Altitude Organic Corporation into the first publicly traded medical marijuana management company in the world earlier this year, Cook was chosen to head The Amergence Group as CEO. Additionally, Cook serves on the Board of Directors of the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA), a medical marijuana advocacy group based in Washington, DC.

There are currently four dispensaries operating under the Altitude Organic Medicine brand – one in Denver, CO, two in Colorado Springs, CO, and one in San Diego, CA. There are also five AOM commercial cultivation warehouses operating in both states.

Each dispensary pays $15,000 a year to become a partner within the Altitude Organic organization, which touts the benefits of organically produced medical marijuana, without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or hormones, as opposed to hydroponically produced marijuana, which comprises the majority of medical marijuana current being cultivated and sold to patients.

Cook, who has always believed in the positive aspects of organic, soil-grown marijuana, maintains that Altitude Organic’s product is stronger, longer-lasting and sweeter-tasting than non-organic product. Because organic marijuana does not need to be flushed in order to eliminate any possible chemical taste, it burns clean, yielding an earthy, natural-tasting smoke.
