Partnership Brings Together Magazine Content and Leading Interactive Community
CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 2006--American Machinist and PracticalMachinist.com announced today that they have formalized a partnership agreement in which PracticalMachinist.com will become the official online bulletin board and discussion forum for American Machinist.

Founded in 1877, American Machinist is a leading information brand serving the metalworking industry in print and online (AmericanMachinist.com). It is owned by Penton Media (OTCBB:PTON - News).
PracticalMachinist.com is the leading online discussion forum for the metalworking community, with more than 500,000 pages views per month. It was launched in 2000 by Don Thomas, principal of Procyon Machine, in Beaufort, S.C.
