The only way he will get the "Sweet Release" is either a halt or he steps down.

Even if he stepped down there would be severe scrutiny. But I've seen when it changes hands there can be a nice quick run but it usually is never sustained and it falls back into flippers paradise which may not be as terrible but still produces bag holders.
