The SonicFlow engine uses advanced acoustic wave dynamics to provide the necessary scavenging pressure differentials for high speed gas exchange in a two cycle engine. As such it no longer requires the use of the crankcase as the primary scavenging pump, therefore the oiling system is contained, and oil is not introduced into the combustion
chamber as it is in a conventional 2t engine. We use several methods for lubrication, a splash and spray method utilizing roller bearings in the smaller engines and a dry sump along with insert style bearings in the aircraft versions. The cylinders liners receive a proprietary coating along with special Russian made piston ring(s). We also utilize our exclusive MAG ultra light weight low creep magnesium components.
