Generally no, I don't think it is covered... with a couple of exceptions: I think certain government employees' plans (e.g. military personnel suffering PTSD, perhaps?) may cover it.

I have heard that there are certain ailments for which the incumbent pharmaceutical treatment is considerably more expensive than MM would be may in time come to be covered as insurance companies look to cut costs. You can imagine the LP's collectively will be lobbying hard for that.
