Even if we found out that they currently have nothing to do with FSPM, investors considering an investment want to know the publically available and pertinent facts. If the company has a history of dealing with scammers, shouldn't investors know this?
The fact that we are able to identify 3 direct connections to fraud (2 at least in 2011, and 1 in 2014) may tell us something about management's current and future intentions. It's a trust issue. And these are the connections we've identified. Imagine what kinds of information we don't know about?
And by the way this is by no means "old information." This is information that is just now coming to light. The only older piece of information that everybody already knows about is the PHO* connection.
