Pd, come on now man. You know as well as I do that is NOT the case. The DoD, or any of the services, don't waste their time or $'s on something that they haven't at least browsed some data on and thinks it may be of some use to them. If it comes that it's not what they're looking for, then they'll say so. If it is close to what they are looking for, they will say so. If it IS what they're looking for, then BOOM! DoD just doesn't test something because someone submits a piece of equipment to them, they do DD as well. They're not some Consumer Reports laboratory.
