I suggest you call Scottrade and escalate the issue beyond customer service to verify your belief that you have actually received your Series C shares in your Scottrade account.

If Scottrade is showing them as "existing" in your account in error, they may later reverse the entry. If they do so and you added more shares of PVEC based upon Scottrade showing these shares in your account, you might even have a legal claim against them.

Why do you think Scottrade is the only brokerage showing these shares in customer accounts that PVEC itself said would be mailed in certificate form to qualified shareholders?
