Spencer, et all ... I'm back from the conference and here is my report:
Frank practically opened the presentation by saying "concentrate on the technology, not on the price" Mentioned is twice in his presentation.
He devoted the entire presentation to the CT
The beginning was devoted to the technology, which frankly lost me.
He went into great detail of all the advantages of the CT and before his presentation they distributed samples of it around the room.
Compared our price being much cheaper and the maintenance being only $1.00 a day.
Someone asked Frank what we get out of that amount and if I recall correctly I think it was $12 a month
He mentioned that our CT has an advantage in Europe since it passes roaming problems. Seems there are many different cell providers and our CT solves that problem.
Mentioned several times about our Sprint/Nextel agreement
Did not mention ports
Spoke a lot about protecting/tracking our kids in cars and how we can stop the car if necessary.
Also mentioned their working with police depts. in Calif.
as well as transportion companies.
Mentioned the merger, but didn't go into it...however, said the distribution would be announced in about 30-40 days.
When I spoke with someone from Apple after the presentation, he alluded to the fact that the announcement should be out shortly...
When I said I hope the price of the merged company is higher than ours, he smiled.
I'm giving you bits and pieces, because he was speaking fast and I couldn't write everything down.
This is partial, but important ... when he outlined the company, he said there was 3 components ... I only remember two, Homeland Security and Actsoft. So, my feeling is Actsoft is petty locked in.
He gave the impression, that we were really global. Another example was that whenever a rented car tries to sneak into Syria CT stops it in its track.
