Might be a problem with scottrade. I use etrade and have never had a problem. I have always used tdameritrades level2. It's free. I set up an account with them a long time ago but never funded it because I heard of people having problems not being able to get certain stocks. Etrade doesn't have any restrictions like that but charges for there software.
