I guess I'm not 100% sure of the question but buying up shares with $200 or $500 blocks at a time is how I like to add when things are looking like they are nearing the bottom and/or setting up for a reversal in the coming days (even if it does drift slightly down).

It's not like I'm adding $5k everyday but you slowly accumulate shares is how I do it and a lot of others.
