NO MJ PLAY

Seems there are some very confused people here. There's some that think that TLAG is the same as Village Tea, which it is not. Of course, there's not one person who can prove me wrong about any of it. Take a look:

Those of us who have been here a while may remember this response from the President of VTCO:

"Let me be clear. TLAG purchased a MINORITY stake in my company and my company is a privately held company and is solely owned by a group. We make strategic decisions based on our needs."

(If he's still active, maybe you can shoot him a message for more clarification.)

That came following the PR that TLAG had assigned it's minority interest to DC Brands a few days before as TLAG "seeks to address short term needs as a part of a major restructuring process that it will undergo over the next several months." This is also called out in the ibox but when highlighting it later, conveniently leaves off the word MINORITY.

According to the VTCO website, Janon is(was?)the CEO while Martin remains the President. Maybe this is the restructuring they were referencing, who knows? There is a 'Contact Us' link there too.

While LinkedIn may not be a 100% reliable source of information, Janon's current title there is "Chairman at Total Apparel Group, Inc." nothing about being CEO anywhere but people aren't always good about updating their profiles there.

Catching up on more current events and remembering that TLAG assigned it's MINORITY interest in VTCO over to HRD*, HRD* recently jumped on the MJ play bandwagon by stating that they were going to "become a financial service provider for marijuana businesses in the state of Colorado. HRD* intends to completely switch its focus, abandoning its unsuccessful 'functional beverages' business and provide accounting, payroll and tax payment services to pot businesses."

If it's dropping its beverage lines, where does that leave VTCO and TLAG? Since there's also been confusion here as to who the CEO is, HRD*'s CEO is Bob Armstrong, not Janon. http://biz.yahoo.com/e/140415/hrdn10-k.html (This also highlights the fact that HRD* is in trouble hence the MJ PR)

The new MJ market has spawned some very creative PR's and have been great P&D plays here in pinky land. That said, that's all they've been, P&D's that eventually die out. That's a common theme here at TLAG although it never gets pumped very high and will never break trips.

In the interest of knowing what you own while getting excited about MJ plays, don't forget FINRA's warning too: http://www.finra.org/investors/protectyourself/investoralerts/fraudsandscams/p325352

It's easy for new investors to get wrapped in the hype, especially at these levels but in the end, this is going all the way back down.
