Dear David:

That is great news you forwarded. I read the whole article and the legislation is very limited in scope. But it is a good sign.

We still need the referendum to be passed by Florida voters before SLNX can see a potential way to make money from MMJ in Florida.

The legislation that was past by the House and Senate only allow MMJ to be grown by five selected nurseries and only three very narrowly defined ailments can be treated using this very low strength brand of MMJ.

I don't see a market for SLNX to pursue based upon the terms approved, but it is a good sign that come November the referendum, which is much more far ranging stands a very good chance of passing.

An alternative way to look at this legislation though is that it is possible that the average low information voter might hear on the news what was passed on Friday and they incorrectly think that MMJ is now a full part of Florida law and decide not to go out and vote in November, during a non Presidential election cycle. I hope that scenario is not the case.
