It amazes me that 52% of Americans own stock in some form or fashion, where are they, I've only met 1 personally that introduced me to stocks. All 20+ friends & family I've brought on board, MYEC was their 1st stock purchase ever. (Not including 401K)
That 52% poll must be all 401K owners, I'd say less than 5% own a brokerage account & purchase stocks on their own.
