On May 7, 2014 there will be either a report stating no meeting is necessary as it was for the previous status conference or there will be a status conference to discuss and resolve issues arising in the discovery process between the parties and/or about particular discovery items.

Status conferences for discovery do not usually discuss the specific content of discovery items. The conversations between the Judge and parties are about the nature, status, treatment and disposition of documentary evidence and the procedures to obtain it and any discovery management issues or challenges that need to be dealt with so that the discovery proceedings move forward in a timely fashion.
