A fun ETF to play is GDXJ which is the Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners ETF. They are safer than a single junior's stock like BAA or SAND but far more volatile than GLD both on the upside and the downside.

I've mentioned this before but never explained it. GDXJ just purchased 19.7M shares of BAA. That is what I had meant when I would say the Junior Gold Miners ETF. All that means is that the GDXJ ETF now considers Banro a real gold miner and not a high risk penny stock.

You can monitor how many shares of BAA GDXJ holds on the Morningstar site below. They appear under Equity Ownership in the Funds tab. They currently own more of BAA than any other fund which to me speaks volumes.
