Can anyone clarify what this means? AM is AM whether metal, plastic or some other material, right? So he is speaking about some other type of manufacturing? Maybe this refers to the gas turbine refurbs? Whatever it is, I love hearing about the 'significant potential'.

I am in the machine tool trade and my take is they see a market for the software in the metal removal mfg. area as well as AM.
There is still the need to optimize metal removal to push the tools and machine toward their limit in order to get the most out the investment.
