How does a 100 share bid "whack" really have any impact on the share price, other than maybe a paint at close? I don't understand how it can be meaningful, considering that most of the "whacks" are on days when hundreds of millions (or a billion) trade hands. What difference does it make other than fodder for conspiracy theorists?
