Although I really dislike the lack of clarity in todays pr, I did have a thought about the method behind the madness. An imaginary thought - I have no idea if this could be true or not. Here it is; the company has kept hands off approach to this trial since they came in. It is legacy trial, bought and paid for by MS Foundations and designed/run/monitored by DrV. She's been carrying out this trial for years longer than present management has been at the company - thus their respectful action of no pre-announcement before her lecture today. They owed her that and they followed thru and that speaks well of them. Perhaps...(big perhaps here - this is the imaginary part)...her lecture tomorrow is the release of the meat of the trial and the company is again keeping their word and not pre-empting her in any way. If this is so - they should have issued pr about it last week to clarify. I don't know what her presentation content was today. She may have gone into the technicals already. But if she didn't, then the reason we don't know them is because the company has followed thru on letting her lead the way.
Or...they might just be royally screwing up.
