I'm no expert in this field and have limited knowledge compared to most on this board. However I will mention to you that nobody complains when there are much less effective treatments that cost far more or even a liver transplant that costs far far more, but when someone comes up with a treatment /pill with a 90%cure rate they are supposed to give it away. I think the 84000 for the treatment is probably reasonable and may come down due to potential competition. Nothing in this world is free and I am sure gild has plenty of money to recoup for their r&d to create sovaldi! IMHO. I am sure others here would have one also.
