absolutely beautiful post from someone who actually understands it..... VFIN as I reported days ago is exactly as you say, a smoke screen.... most of their dirty work is with foreign issues.

VFIN is a diluter at times but has also turned into a smoke screen for other MM's when a short position already exists. Basically an arrogant organization dealing with overseas shorts and occasionally a diluting financer. I'd be more concerned with CLYP and HDSN when they are sitting on the ask for a while. MM's have gotten smarter and use all combinations now whether a quick pop on the ask etc. to kill runs even in non-dilutive plays.
