Someone once asked Ed on FB if any of the apps are being geared towards the gambling industry. Skrill (who's services sounds very similar to MYEC's) is already integrated with U.S. gambling, and their U.S. mobile app is still being developed.
Here's the beautiful part of my Skrill theory!! Skrill is already offered as a payment option on eBay. Imagine a PR announcing a partnership with Skrill, and picture the "Oh sh*t!" look on eBay/PayPal's face when they realize they offer an alternative payment method that is superior to theirs! I'll bet they would take away Skrill as an option real fast, drawing massive national attention. (The "not what you think" mass PR campaign Ed referred to on FB?)
Skrill and MyECheck sound like perfect partners to me.
