Yes, it has been dead. It also has a lot of baggage for those trying to bring it back from the dead. Many money judgments and outstanding claims exist which would allow creditors to place the company into bankruptcy the day it reopens. A name change will not rinse away the past dealings. If complaints have been filed with the SEC, actions may be taken the minute the main characters make a play. This grey is not a good candidate for investment.
