There are already products that do this.

They're called PCs.

I have a co-worker with one of them. It has a Core i5 and HD screen and it's 10 or 11 inches. It can be used as a tablet or with the dockable keyboard. When he brings it into the office, he can use WiDi to connect wirelessly to a larger monitor.

Aren't PCs great?
