Have a good weekend all.
I'm absent again all next week. Chemo in Austin M/F. Then back home for three weeks; looks like that'll be the drill indefinitely. CMML-1. No symptoms, feel fine mostly; I'm guessing 3 to 5 more years. Continue to ride m' bike every day. Knees not good enough to do much on foot.
Got 5 dbls today, nothing red. Adds up pretty fast, which makes the medical costs prospects less fearsome, yet still hugely threatening and inevitable. Some for me ($2k/mo) but mostly wife, grandson (got out of the hospital Tuesday after 17 days this time) and daughter-in-law's father. None for son yet but his future looks iffy. The family book I wrote in 1998-2002 recording Dad's family from 1866 to 1980 spoke of numerous illnesses, but no doctors or hospitals until after 1932 (Dad's mother) and infrequently thereafter. Good genes.
Sure missed a multibagger (maybe 15) by not getting on NFLX puts early today. Thought that one had already "used up" too much puts potential Tuesday through Thursday. Couple of 9 and 10-baggers then. Smart pulled in a strong NFLX puts triple from 1.54 to 5.60 yesterday but not Roy, and the thing has been staring him in the face allatime.
I sure do enjoy participating with good friends and acquaintances on our board here. A little like family. Thanks. Too many of my lifelong peers have already gone.
