Generally, The changing of the Ticker would be a decision of the company. It would not necessarily be mandatory to change the ticker with the changing of the name.

I agree, WNTR would be missed , as we have gotten custom to making our puns. WDHI looks good also. When/if the ticker is changed, it would usually be announced in a PR, and the date of the transition , you would simply notice a different ticker in your account, holding of coarse the same position.
